Depending on circumstances, we can complete your flooring project in as little as one day.
Our vehicles and trailer are outfitted with all the proper material and equipment to tackle any challenges.
I. Site Inspection & Preparation
First, your concrete will be thoroughly inspected to determine what type of coating is suitable. Some cases may require a moisture barrier or flexible coating and based on the your future use well recommend which product is best suited.
Then, perhaps the most important aspect, involves using our steel shot blaster and concrete grinders to open up and prepare the slab to ensure a permanent bond.
We take pride in having the right equipment for your project, such as reliable dustless self-contained vacuum systems and the best market diamond grind bits, and it shows with our finished product.
II. Crack Repair & Prime Coat
A very important key part to the process is making sure that the existing slab is repaired before being coated. Using only the best repair materials, such as epoxy and urethane patching compounds, we’ll fix any cracks and divots making sure the surface is uniform. The floor will be perfectly smooth and any previous cracks invisible.
Then, an initial adhesive prime coat will be applied. With over 20 years of experience our specialized priming techniques ensure the best coated floors on the market.
III. Decorative & Top Coat
Next, a colour coat or flake base will be applied using a rubber squeegee and/or roller. If decorative flakes are used they will be broadcast onto the wet surface and once cured scraped to remove any high spots.
Finally, a top coat is applied to give a consistent finish that’s extremely durable. This can be clear and high gloss, a satin finish, anti-slip, or added scratch resistance and UV stable.
